  • The Working Group on Equal Treatment (AKG) is established under the University Act (§ 42 UG). The members of the AKG are nominated by the four curiae in the Senate and are tasked with counteracting discrimination by university bodies on the basis of gender, ethnicity, religion, ideology, age, or sexual orientation. We advise and support members of the university community and university bodies on these matters.
  • The Working Group on Equal Treatment is responsible for all members of the university community. In addition to academic staff, general university staff, and students, the AKG also advises applicants seeking employment at Montanuniversität or admission as students.
  • The Working Group advocates for anti-discrimination and equal opportunity.
  • All members of the AKG are bound by confidentiality.
  • The AKG acts independently and without a specific mandate.
